Baby Animal Days-Logan

We took the boys to baby animal days in logan, Emily stayed over the entire weekend and came with us to have fun and help out. We all had a blast and were very glad that we went!!!

This was my favorite part, Paytyn kept giving the bunny kisses and a few bystanders quickly started taking pictures of it since it was so darn cute! I guess Ryan and I just make cute babies!!

We went and ate at the blue bird restaurant, and let me tell you boy was the food excellent. I would definatly recommend eating there if your ever in Logan.

He is so darn cute!!!

In the car on the ride home, we had fun with him while he was making funny and cute faces!

Cupcakes?!?!?!?

These may look like ordinary cupcakes on the outside however upon closer inspection you will notice that the supposed "Frosting" looks a bit different!!! I was looking up online on april fools day for ways to get Ryan and I came across this recipe as well as many other fun ones and since I am on the mission to cook a different meal every night so we can have more of a variety I decided I would make these to fool Ryan into thinking we were going to eat dessert first before dinner. Well boy did it work, I thought for sure he had figured it out just by seeing them however he didn't have a clue. He really thought I was going to have him eat dessert before dinner. He sat down and said "alright but I don't think I will be hungry for dinner after I eat these." (That was because I gave him 4 to eat). Then as he removed the wrapper he quickly realized that it was not really a cupcake but instead meatloaf base with mashedpotatos on top as the frosting. We all loved them as they tasted excellent, and as you can see Paytyn was very excited to eat them too that he even ate 3 of them. I would strongly suggest doing a fun meal like this one day of the week just for fun. Just google meatloaf cupcakes april fools day and it will pull up the website.

Paytyn has been itching to use a big boy fork and spoon to eat with, when ever we feed him off our plate he immediatly grabs for the utensil and gets a death grip on it so he can feed him self. Its so darn cute watching him try to do it and figure its purpose out. He is getting it down but he doesn't fully understand it so he will just hold it in his hand while he eats with his other fingers and occasionally he will put it in his mouth as if he thinks the food magically appears on it :).

Brushing Teeth

Paytyn now officially has two teeth poking through, both center and on the bottom. We decided that it was time for him to get his very own special tooth brush and tooth paste, and that we would start to brush his teeth everynight as well as only give him water to bed now that way he has healthy teeth always like mommy and daddy do. As you can tell in the pictures he already loves to brush them. Its cute when they know how to imitate us just by watching :).
Daddy holding both his boys...what a good dad! He held both of them like this for about an hour while I cooked dinner. Paytyn did not feel good at all and just wanted to cuddle and at the same time Jaxson was in need of a little love too. I love you all so much!!! Dinner was great too by the way we had honey baked curry chicken over rice, hand made from scratch by me.

Jaxson 2 Month Checkup

Wow is Jaxson getting big, I can't believe that he is already 12 lbs 11 ounces. I was so worried that he wasn't getting enough to eat and was debating on whether I should start substituting with bottles or not. Well my fear is now all gone with that and I can continue to just strickly breast feed him which I am way happy about.

He is in the 75 percentile for his weight while his brother at that same age was only in the 38th percentile. He's mommas little chunker boy :). He is currently 23 inches long already and growing like a weed.

He has started to smile (mostly for daddy) and I just love love love it! Its probably my favorite part about having children, when they will just look at you, smile and then laugh.

This is a picture I snapped while trying to get Jaxson to smile. You can kind of see it though, more like a smirk but still a cute picture.

Paytyn loves to pretend to drink out of glasses and cups, its so cute to watch him immitate mommy and daddy!! Gotta love his cute spiderman pajamas too.

Everytime we give Jaxson a bath he immediatly loves it. Its his favorite thing by far to do no matter what. I have even noticed that if he is really fussy and I give him a bath then he immediately calms down, its great.

He is holding his head up so well and although I don't have a picture of it just yet he has started smiling and we just love it.

Paytyn's first birthday party was very fun, everyone had a good time including Paytyn himself. He really enjoyed being the center of attention and getting to spend time with everyone he loves. He got a lot of neat gifts as well as some really cute clothing. Thanks to all who came and made it a memorable day for him. We played a game of 20 questions about Paytyn to see who really knew him and both grandma's dominated it. I guess they really know there grandson.
